So I guess I "sort-of-officially" have the job. She said expect the next call to be from someone with a training date. So I guess I will "sort-of-celebrate" this weekend. I am playing Mr. Mom for a couple weeks (wife deployed overseas with her Guard unit). So my daughter and I will celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese! Looking forward to the first day of training!!!
Just some FYI stuff: Talked to a dude that got the job offer the same day I did. He has heard there may be two new hire classes in June (only a rumor right now). Anyone heard the same thing? Same dude also mentioned that the HR dept. likes to give new hires around 21 days of advance notice for training. I thought this might help someone for planning purposes if you want to give an employer a two week notice. (I'm a big "don't burn any bridges" type of person)
Good Luck to all!!!

"sort-of" congrats! I heard tonight that the latest "bid" to come out has 120 'new-hires' for MD88 in ATL and about 80(?) on the 73 - not sure of the numbers or the time frame. Anyone know where the 737 bases are?
