i think its great that there is always someone willing to put in some triple time....that way the company doesnt have to have so many folks on the payroll. Keeps from having to transition as many folks to the captain seat and keeps the company from having to hire new folks....well done.

Nicely put, Worldguy. I wish more folks could understand this concept. It goes back to we are making this profession what it is -- just like voting. Don't bi#ch about the bed you sleep in when you're the one that made it.
After reading Nash's comment I have to add this one as well: My june month BLOCKED a little over 21 hours. By getting extended on my trip for an extra two days and my guarantee, the pay month is 86. Oh yeah, and it looks like I'm going to be pay protected on my trips in July due to Captains getting IOE. Granted, the IOE is due to getting the aircraft back because of arbitration. So I get to sit at home for the whole month AND get paid. You guys can have those high flying multi-leg days. As I have stated before, I work to live and not live to work.
