The price of the ticket will bring to bear as to whether BA's scheme will work or not.

For example if one travels from the US to the UK on the 17th of January;

The price of a ticket on EOS varies from $1,725 to $2,550, (depending which flight you take) for premium class service.

Silverjet's fare is $2,290.

BA will charge you $5,208 for a business class ticket.

Perhaps if BA's fares were in line with their competition, then they would regain those passengers lost to the competition.

Dollar for dollar, product for product, and convenience... EOS has my vote.
