I think its a waste of my tax dollars to put him in jail but the punishment is just he could have caused the death of all the pax and put the company out of business I thought i would never say this but thank God for student pilots. I did hear of this story when it happened and the company paid for the student pilot to complete training up to ATP and a job. nice
This wasn't just some guy who "forgot" to write something on his medical form. The guy in question apparently had a very long history: transporting wholesale quantities of illegal drugs by air, prison time, had all of his tickets revoked at one point in the past. Jail is probably as good a place for him as any.
