I agree. That said, the weakening of the dollar is also a factor. As is supply. Not sure what the order is, but the fact is we're more dependent on foreign oil than we were 10 years ago. Drilling in ANWR, for example, would produce about 1,000,000 barrels per day, decreasing our dependence on foreign sources by 5%. It would also give us at least some counterbalance to the whims of OPEC.
