I ramped for a summer. Pretty much get paid to work out. Working mornings is easiest cause youre dealing with the lighter loads. Occasionally the pilots will talk to you, but remember you are just a ramp rat in their eyes.
The company I worked with was contracted for Alaska, Frontier, and the airline formally known as Aloha.
I was making 8.75, but Im willing to bet that varys by company. Figure out who is flying into your airport, then go find the applications to get that position.
