The ultimate cause of failure for a capitalistic society is legislatively plotting the 'givers' against the 'takers.' Let the majority legislate taking money away from the higher wage earners to give to the lower wagers, and you have a recipe for disaster. Of course, this is the way its done here. The only reason the US is still so successful is because compared to other countries, we still technically do less monetary socialism. I have a feeling we are about to see it get worse after this next election, though.
