What if he does make money? If he can get the project moving, help the country and reduce our dependency on foreign oil, why shouldn't he make wads o' money?
The problem we have is dependency on foreign oil and a Congress willing to inflict pain on the public in the quest for more partisan political power. They are willing to do nothing to solve the problem which exacerbates the pain and prolongs the situation. And what do they offer? Either/Or proposals which is akin to 'do you want a poke in the eye with a sharp stick or a swift hard kick in the raisins with a steel-toe boot?' Why does it have to be one or the other? Is that the best our elected leaders can offer? If that is the case, throw the entire bunch out and get some new thinkers not so mired in political rhetoric and partisan politics and WHO CAN SERVE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC!
No one seems to have a problem with crusty old Warren Buffet making bazillions. Or with hack actors making millions for schlocky pictures. Edison made a wad of money off his inventions... what happened to our admiration for problem solvers?
