Agree with you on the unity being a tough row to hoe. BS flag on the "needing" the job. Not having another skill or being to lazy, narrow-minded or lacking the ambition to acquire another skill or step away from aviation for a little while is NEVER an excuse to throw your fellow pilots under the bus. Period. There are more jobs out there than you think that anyone who can hack aviation can do well. I have an aviation degree and was offered as an insurance agent and stock broker making decent money. There are lots of opportunities our there for those willing to look.
