I bet those moments by the campfire with your son roasting marshmellows, cooking beans and hot dogs, talking about sports, girls, birds, bears, fishing...whatever....meant more to you than any airline flight in the world. Great story, really hits home with me.

For UPS captain....I said, I'm buying a business, it's in my first post. I'll leave it at that other than to say I'm cashing in my savings to buy it.

As for the lifestyle, it appears you're single. Should you ever get married and then have kids I do wonder if your outlook would change.

Over the years I've seen pilots of two thoughts, those who like aviation but see more to life and those who eat and breath this stuff and can't fathom life without it. That you have your own web site to tell the world about yourself and have everyone read your neato story, well I'm going out on a limb to put you in the eat and breath category. Good for you, I'm happily not there.
