We were told differently. There were guys in the Denver road show that got interviews in October and November. The DEC guys from Frontier were told to get ready for an interview in December.
Maybe they filled up all the slots with prior road shows?
I can confirm they are not taking non-type rated guys, which bummed me out as a guppy guy. I'm trying to get my type now ASAP in the A320.
I was impressed (even after reading everything on pprune) with the road show, Abu Dhabi, and Etihad. I am seriously thinking this is my first choice. I am short listed for an interview at Emirates as well, but the delays from Boeing and Airbus have moved their interviews back to November, so it may have worked out.
I know the ME is not for everyone, so I would make sure if you have a family that is really what you want. If so, I think Etihad has a lot of potential. As a newer airline, they certainly have had teething problems, which are to be expected, but I truly think they are trying to do the right thing with the package - even housing.
