But in my opinion, we are all here to discuss many different subjects with a group of our peers and friends. I believe it would be a worth while addition to the site.

No harm and no good. I doubt very much it would change anyone's mind, but most political "discussion" rapidly degrades into baseless arguments without any factual support.
The current dung heap known as politics is largely a diversion from any important issues or actions and is designed to seperate the populace from their money as rapidly as possible.
Yes, the Circus has once again come to town. Attend it if you like, but don't try to convince us that we are actually going to be helped by any of it or show us the tawdry souvenirs.
Our time would be better spent kicking the hogs away from the trough, but there seems to be little interest in this activity.
