It does lead me to think about f/a's occupying the flight deck when a crewmember is in the lav. I personally would not let them occupy the left seat if I was flying but what are the actual regs?

In some cockpits they'd have to be standing hunched over in the doorway if they don't take a seat. I think it's better if they just sit down as long as the seat is moved all the way back and sideways so there is enough room to easily get into the chair.

I certainly know which I've seen on the line 100% of the time.
