Personally I think the correct response to this (given the circumstances) would be:

"I can kill you, and some time in the next two hours I may . . ."

Let him ruminate on that for the duration of the flight.

(Okay, I wouldn't actually say that on a regular passenger flight - now if it was all prisoner transport . . .)
