Why don't you look into being a P.A. (Physician Assistant), money's about the same and no need to be a R.N. first.
On a side note-we have one agency R.N. on staff with our hospital who does occasionally wipe someones ass-and drives home after work in a Turbo Carrera.

Im not saying that there is anything wrong with it, just that its a fact. My ex wife made great money as a traveling nurse and yet wiped many asses.
P.A is also a great profession, however, you will need a lot of science classes before excepted into any program. Most people that went into aviation will not have such classes. I for one do because I was trying to get into PA school before this pilot idea popped into my head. Looking at them now, it seems that most schools are now Masters programs and are even harder to get accepted into. I wish I would have stuck with it.
