I think SWA is in cahoots with the type schools. They require it so everybody goes out and gets it for the interview then they only hire minimal #'s out of each group they process. I wouldn't doubt for a minute that they are getting kick-backs from those schools for every student they send to be interviewed.

I would not leave my current airline to go work for SWA. They are a great company but they are not immune from the industry woes. The only 2 places I would consider leaving my current job for would be UPS or FEDEX.

PS...did your husband wear a zoot suit or Disney tie to his interview? since his 10,000tt didn't get him the job, maybe they would have liked that. Or maybe he told them that he wasn't interested in doing 280 below 10K or taxi at V1-10 to speed things along.
