Im going to finish my degree in Computer Science. Information technology is a growing field, and will always be, per the article. Everything is becoming much more advanced, and computerized, and that will not change. The pay is great, as well, in the IT field.

I thought long and hard about something in the medical field, but honestly, I don't think the medical field is for me. With that said, my brother has a nice six-figure income, working in the medical field, and he doesn't deal with patients, at all. He works for a company that makes pace-makers, etc. His job is to go out into the field and teach the doctors, etc., how the device works. It is a job I could do with a computer science degree.

That is another thing to think about. There are always diverse job opportunities within the same field/industry. You can work within a certain industry, such as the healthcare industry, but not necessarily have a job that involves working with patients, etc, just as their are IT people, for that matter, who work for the airlines.
