For those of us nearer the bottom, any news on DC9's, MD88's, A320's, 737's, MD90's and even the 757's?
The rumor that has been floating around for months is MDs will leave SLC and be based in MSP (they can hit both coasts from there) and A320s to SLC (they can hit both coasts from SLC). A320s will be doing a bit of flying out of CVG, but no word on whether it will be hubbing or a base. I think757 basing is up in the air, NW is reducing staffing on 757 as we speak. I would think DC9 basing will be stable until RA figures out which airlink RJs we want to dump. For now expect a lot of DC9s hubbing in and out of ATL.
Base closures supposedly will not start until after SOC.
