Because desperate times call for desperate measures. A paycheck is better than no paycheck. Every individual has different lifestyles. Single vs. married. 3 kids vs. no kids, divorced and getting screwed by your ex-spouse, debt up the arse, etc.... I don't support flying for peanuts but I am not in the situation of financial desperation so I wouldn't know what it's like to have to make decisions like that.... yet.
