my buddy over there said with all the cutbacks this fall skywest will be furloughing. Management wants to look like they are putting up a good fight and trying their best to keep everyone on property, but they still have a business to run and having people you dont need isn't good business.

pinchanickle is also losing a lot of hours this fall. they have already told the union the hours and we just had an loa come out for part time lines. The MEC said it looked like to them and the company we are about 50-100 heavy and if the part time lines dont work we will furlough also. I am pretty sure that if you are a regional and you fly for delta there is a good chance you will be furloughing this fall. RAH has guys on the street. ASA has already done it. Comair has been doing it. Mesaba is about to do it. We all know the Freedom situation. I really dont see skywest and pinnacle being the only ones that dont.
