Flex, I am the same way as far as the qualifications without the international experience, I am a second time furloughee. And in my 17 years in the industry at a 135/121 Commuter (as we used to call them, back in the day), then on to a major.

I to rarely post on this thing. I don't have a dog in this hunt/fight. However, this entire thing just disgusts me. What may happen to my friends and the other good folks @ both Frontier and Midwest. All the blood, sweat and tears they put in to get to where they are/were. And now to almost helplessly watch it be decimated by greed and to have others salivate over it makes me sad. No one is to know what may have happened to either company without the Republic thing. Only time would have told. But this sets a terrible precedent for the industry and the profession.
