I would rather be low man on the totem pole at SWA and get furloughed knowing that I will eventually be called back to a great airline
Just one person's opinion, but you probably don't want this. If it comes down to a furlough, the company you'll return to rarely resembles the one you left except possibly in the eyes of the very senior unaffected pilots. Just another one of those 'business realities' that have been spoken of so often lately. Best of luck whatever happens.
