Actually, here is the latest and greatest regarding this never ending journey. I got off the phone with K.D. a few days ago, AND I'm in the same boat as you. Even though I received the conditional offer for Homestead, there is currently nothing open. She said wait until October for an opening. That means its anybodies guess to my duty location. Well, at least we are in the pipeline with everything completed. I figure all the time and money spent on the BI, they will eventually use us. Honestly, though I believe this time in the holding pattern may prove very helpful. This will give me time to hit the gym and run in order to prepare myself for FLETC, and will allow my wife to finish her MBA. I hate waiting, but it's all going to work out. I wish everyone the very best.
