So he falsely depicts himself as a "regular joe". He probably lives a lifestyle that contradicts with what he says on his blogs or other press. So what?
If the films convey some amount of truth, then so be it. All good viewers should do their research before believing what they are presented. Bowling for Columbine was littered with errors. Since then, the films have had a lot more fact checking.
