A logbook is a logbook, it doesn't matter what country your flying in. Yes, I realize that some countries have there own format.
I would suggest that you get your logbook stamped by a company official to "certify" your hours. At least this would give a little more credence to the hours you have logged. I say this because I am am suspicious of guys with low time that get foreign jobs and start logging lots of hours or guys that have never been Capt before suddenly logging PIC with nothing other than a (cooked) logbook to show as evidence.
