If I have offended you then I am sorry you are so sensitive. After the
carreer I have had in aviation, I have no chin left. The CA probably got the same message that I did. That was, companies are no longer interested in paying for your skills anymore. This is because the aircraft have become more automated, the systems we fly in are safer and most of all, the Unions have worried about their own existence over the needs of their members. There should have been a national seniority list a long time ago. It's no fun flying for $23.00 an hour and having to worry about who is going to buy you or run you out of business. Let face it, if the flying isn't fun then it is a horrible job. I left flying because of an old saying. "the deffinition of insanity is when you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect to get a different result" Yes I am home every night but I don't like my job, I make less money than I used to, and I don't get to fly anymore but, as I said earlier "at least I dont have terminal cancer" Reality bites sometimes.
