Freight Puppy, I lost my grandmother on September 25th. She was like a mother to me from as long as I remember being alive. She practically raised me. When she passed away, I felt just like you - my heart and my soul felt ripped out and empty.
Remember, despite being all macho and tough, it's OK to cry. It actually helps quite a bit.
Your mom will always be with you in spirit and be watching over you until you are reunited with her.
