I use my laptop to write line pilot reports for my company. I could write these by hand, but computers work much nicer. The behavior of two pilots should not dictate the rules and regulations for all pilots or flight decks.
I agree completely. I did all of my distance learning CDs prior to recurrent on my laptop. It really helped to be able to look at a system, look up at the panel, make the connection, etc. I also have my 73N Study Guide saved to my laptop. It comes in handy on the road.
