I know 3 guys with young families affected by this, one guy (good friend and neighbor) just had a baby, his third child, his last rotation starts on December 25th ... flew with a 64 year old captain last month, he said " I'm going to give it 3 more years and see how I feel".

I flew with a guy who was 70 and didn't take the early out.
He retired from the airlines in the good ole days and had a full pension. I guess he doesn't like his wife.....
