With the recent news on MESA, the possibility of MESA going into some form of re-organization or bankruptcy is getting closer. I am so sick an tired of everybody talking about mesa this, mesa that. YES, the UAL contracts are expiring. End of story. WHO CARES ABOUT HAWAII.??? There are five airplanes out there. Is that enough to bring people off the street if mesa goes under? Everyone on this forum is like a blood thirsty shark. Did anybody ever stop to think that much of the UAL flying will disappear and never come back? Mesa is the cheapest operator there is, United isn't cancelling it because it's too expensive. They are cancelling the flying because they can! It's the timing of the matter. The flying will be awarded to regionals who give the them money, followed by the cheapest.
