The USAF is paying it's pilots an avergage of $100,000 to leave the Air Force in FY07, because it thinks it has too many pilots. '07 is going to see a flood of USAF pilots getting out. My squadron alone has 7 people alone, leaving under the early out program. As of right now the USAF doesn't seem to concered about keeping guys in. But then again they are always a day late and a dollar short in manning issues.
