The only thing I would disagree with is the statement about recalls in 2012. I know thats what UPS said. I won't look at that as fact in either direction (recall sooner or recall later). Here is the ONLY fact you and I have. IF, and thats a big IF UPS every needs more pilots they have to offer you and I a recall for the next 6 years or so depending on when you got booted. Beyond that, when UPS is the only cargo company that is furloughing in an expanding economy you have to start asking some serious questions about what direction they are headed. All I'm saying is I wouldn't take recall as a forgone conclusion. Anything can happen. And yes, I completely believe the furlough was a direct payback for BT taking office. The IPA will NEVER have a bigger bat than the company, and they proved that.
Why tell somebody who has such omnipotent knowledge to color...I say run for office or take an FQS position...they are all knowing as well.
Just so the opaque becomes clear, you know/think that:
If Miller was still president UPS would not have furloughed.
The furlough was solely a get-evenwithemism for Thrush getting elected.
Anybody who doesn't share your world-view is somehow oppressing you or trying to silence you.

I think we are all victim of The Davis Doctrine, and that it's an all encompassing strategy which has spared no class within the company. Davis axed 1,600 middle/upper management and slashed/or attempted to slash the entire company 10% across the board. The BOD thinks he walks on water...he came into the position sideways promising increased bottom line, flat top line and ever increasing dividends...all of which he delivered. In the long run it may well cripple the company beyond repair, but by then he/they won't care because they'll bail with their parachutes, and he/they won't give the slightest thought to you, me or anyone else for that matter.
It's not a schoolyard grudge, it's hard core, take no prisoners business, and yet it's all about you.
Cool to be so important I suppose.
