Default Logging IMC in the 121 world

Anybody got any references to where I'd find who logs IMC in the 121 world? Is it solely the PF (pilot flying) for that leg who logs the IMC, or may both crew members log the actual IMC? It should be a no-brainer, but I'm just on the hunt for a textual reference/interpretation. Thanks!

In any crew world, it is the pilot controlling the airplane by reference to instruments. Same with the landing. It is listed in part 61.

I've never seen anyone log "IMC" at work. I always thought once hired at a 121 carrier that you already had years of experience "flying instruments".

Does anyone actually do this?

Controlling the airplane can be either via hand-flying or via the autopilot.

I certainly log instrument approaches just to prove currency.

I do for GA currency and you never know when an employer might require some large total of IMC or some amount of recent IMC. I suppose that if you're at you're career destination airline you probably don't need to.

So you're in clouds from 1000' to 200', flying a puddle jumper. You're the F/O, watching the captain fly. You log SIC time and that is it? Or do you log SIC and IMC?

Have at it.
