Engine 2 is on fire - you shut it off

Engine 1 is on fire, however still producing thrust/power, its your only left engine so you are going to leave it on
when you come back around to land, you are in 0 vis situation. you can't see squat. You shoot the ILS, and upon DH, no sight of lights/runway anything, way too foggy.
what would you do? go miss, and risk losing the engine that is barely alive and plop back down to earth, or continue the approach and hope you land where you need to land?
This is freaky!
This was our normal sim training profile. The only difference is that we did nonprecision ones, too.
Answer: (Turn around) Can you reset us to the FAF and let's try that one again....
you call failures as you see them..that'd be a master warning..it would show up on the bells and whistles of EICAS
if you're at DA and it's zero zero..if the needles are centered...you're going..you should've already declared an emergency whne the first engine went on takeoff..and should've requested re vectors to final...so you go shoot hte approach..and you break the rules cause of 91.3

Where am I? If this is So Cal, make a turn inland and get out of the junk to ONT or somewhere abouts that region cause you should be getting some performance around SL.
Down to one engine and its still spitting flames? ILS to the ground. No sense in going back up into the crap. When glide slope and a hud should suffice to get it back in as few pieces as possible.

Hit APPR mode on the autopilot...and slam it onto the markers. It's a gaurenteed hit!...Unless your sim instructor is trying to be an jerk and he/she fails the Glideslope...then just use VS mode
