Default What is SafeRoute?

SafeRoute is an ADS-B-based software package loaded onto an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) that allows aircraft to precisely follow one another using a cockpit display.

SafeRoute uses ADS-B data to monitor the position of every aircraft in a section of airspace. It gives the crew airspeed commands to maintain a desired time interval from a lead aircraft. It also provides a moving airport map showing aircraft and ground vehicle traffic when the aircraft is on the ground.
