Default HELP with certificates!!
Hey, I just got my private pilot license (im suppose to be starting my commercial but a whole bunch of laziness catches up) ANYWAY. I also have my powerplant license from high school and I was wondering if I have to send back my powerplant license to the FAA to get both certifications put on or will they just send me a new one.

There are nine different certificates. Your pilot certificate and the powerplanrt are separate. If you plan on using the powerplant you will have to replace the paper version (if that's what you have) with a plastic one before 31 March 2013.

I have to carry them both. they don't put them together on one.
