Hey guys, I got a quick question for you. Me and a few of my cronies want to send some beer down to a customer of mine in Houston. We have a beer up north in PA called Yuengling. If you haven't had it, definatley pick it up when you're in the area.

Anywho, to kind of bypass using cargo, I really don't want to use my credit with cargo when I can ship it as checked luggage. Of course I would escort the beer downthere as it's my "Checked Luggage". PPS with AA Cargo would be like $79.00 for me to ship it but I was curious if they had an issue with me shipping some beer in a crate that is acceptable dimmensions and under 50lbs.

Any help would be great on this as I'd rather pay $20.00 than $79.00, not including the truck to deliver the beer.

That's good stuff. You should have no problem checking it if it's within normal size/weight parameters. There are limits on high alcohol content booze due to flammability, but not for beer.

I assume it's in bottles? Pack it really well...

If you are flight crew in uniform, you can take it as carry-on. I know guys who bring cases back from canada all the time (discreetly wrapped).

When Flower in PUB used to give out steaks and wine for fuel purchases. We had 4 steaks and two bottles of wine and broke down. I got the steaks in my flight bag, the Captain put the wine in his and we checked our bags. When we got back to DFW, the Captain had rose Jepp charts.

Aw man that sucks. I remember the days of Flower giving out steaks. Our CP wanted to fuel stop there on the way back to YIP then TOL so I gave it to him and he gave me one of the steaks. Man were they good! Do you know if Supermarine in LIT still gives out Pizza?

They don't have Yuengling in Texas??? WTH? We have it in Tennessee. It's a good beer. I sometimes pick some up at the store here. I always knew there was something wrong with Texas
