I did EC and got hired. Very good information about how to deliver your story, and focuses on both how you speak and non-verbal communication. I only know one who did EC and not get hired and he was one of the last SWA interviewees. Not many from his group were picked because I think they had nearly reached their hiring goal.

I know a few folks who applied to Emirates just for the interview experience to get ready for Major Airline interviews.

They have all been hired by US Legacies.

That sounds like a great plan. More experience at the table can't hurt.

This thread has been a huge help. Thanks to all that have posted their info. I got the video interview email a couple weeks ago. The last set of questions are what I got, so I'm guessing they're still current. Got the email asking for additional info about 10 days later, and then 3 days later the email invite to come to Dallas for the face to face... (Every day that goes by and checking your email every 3 minutes gets to be almost pathetic. Your wife may think you've lost your mind and demand you put the phone down and be patient) Scheduled to be down there mid march for the face to face. Looking forward to meeting the others who are on here that will be down there at the same.

By the looks of things, they're taking people from all walks of life and are just truly looking for enjoyable people to sit next to in the cockpit. I'll keep the updates coming as they unfold.

I do not think the "interview" at OBAP is an actual "job interview" in the traditional sense, although they are using the term on the fair website, I think its only meaning "talking to 200 candidates", although doing well speaking with recruiters might bode well in actually getting an actual job interview in DFW. They are just "interviewing" (i.e. talking to candidates) at the career fair.

Pretty sure the Career Fair is just a job fair where they will talk to candidates. Im in the first 200 also and attending, they are capping attendance at 200 and it says they will only talk to ("interview") 200 people. I wish it was an actual interview, although I am still preparing as they will be asking interview type questions when meeting with candidates. So preparing is not a bad idea at all.

Bottom line, the career fair in LAS is a good pre-test of sorts if you/we/ any other career fair attendees perform well, but its not a interview for the job. Sorry, I think the career fair webpage using that term has mislead you a bit. They just are capping attendance and will speak with 200 people at the career fair.

Have you had a video invite? If you have, and have been invited to DFW, that is an actual interview.

Yeah, it's not an interview at OBAP. Just another job fair.
