Been to two of them and the concept for both was basically the same -
30 (?) minute presentation by pilot. Overview of AA. How to fill out online app. Overview of hiring process. Followed by Q&A session. Overall approx. 1 hour.
Then approx. 10 minutes 1:1 with line pilot volunteer. Basic - who are you? What's your background? What are you doing now? Resume overview, etc.

I'd venture to say you'll be in CLT for ground school. It is possible that if you get the Airbus, you could go to PHX, but most likely CLT.
You'll get Positive Space to and from on your days off during Indoc, Ground School and Sims.

When I went through (almost 2 years ago), it was anywhere from 2 days to a week. I'm not sure how they're doing it now, but when you bid for your equipment, the sheet also has start dates for Ground school and you can bid when you want to go to class.

I started in April and of the 17 Airbus slots only one trained in Phoenix. Time between indoc and starting aircraft training was between 2-3 days and 3-4 weeks. The aircraft training slots with the least amount of time between indoc and aircraft training went junior.
