This is a complex, and Fedex private issue. I hope all Fedex guys keep our negociations private.

Fedex1....
On the contrary, the pay issue needs to be open and shared with the other unions representing freight pilots. This is the only segment of the industry still currently making loads of money.
Whoever settles first..ups or fedex...will set the mark for the other group. This is beneficial to us all.

What the hell are you talking about? Yeah, lets keep it private. The cat is out of the bag and FedEx is no exception. I agree with the previous note. The more open we are about working conditions and pay the better off the pilots will be. I'd like to see a common contract one day. Imagine a world where pilots work for scale and no less. You want a 737 pilot, it will cost you X amount.
Dream on, I know.

I just didn't want to see a copy of what our MEC sent to us posted here with reagrds to the latest offers in negociations. The above isn't that big of a deal.

Rumer Has It That It Will Be In Excess Of 240/hr
While I favor pattern bargaining within the industry, I'd only ask that any information that is sensitive to CURRENT negotiations be left off of the public forums until there is a TA. Out of respect to the committees that are trying to secure the best contract for their membership, much can change in a short period of time - I'm a fan of letting them do their jobs behind closed doors.
BTW, I have no dog in this hunt.

Agreed. I didn't mean to jump down anyone's throat. And, BTW, I also have no dog in the hunt.

Rest assured, Fedex mgt will publish there "offer" and what you see will not represent the whole story. Hourly rates, out of context, are just one of the ways of confusing the media and ignorent (usually one and the same);)

Imagine a world where us pilots could spell words like "negotiations", "rumor", "their", and "ignorant" correctly. I also have no dog in this hunt.

Fedex management just posted a looong letter on the pilot web site about how hard they are trying to get this contract done, and how uncooperative the union is being. Ugh, here we go again......

So why don't you guys be more cooperative? Times are tough you know! Man, you need to be drug tested. You got to be smoking crack to make a statement like that. I have worked at 5 different airlines and I have never seen management looking out for the pilots.....

Yeah, I read Browntail's post as sarcasm, like why haven't we just rolled over and taken concessions with our record profits. I know times are tough for a lot of us. And might be for cargo, too some day soon.
But Lighten Up Francis....
