Did my Written and Flying there 5 or 6 years ago. Study the little pamphlet they give you. One of the guys I was there with failed to do that and they were not impressed with his act. Written and flying was all a piece of cake. The funny thing was I felt like I was teaching my left hand how to fly, it wasn't until I was on my way back home that I realized my left hand hadn't flown a plane since pre-UPT (20+ years). ;-)

Thanks, Man! As usual, I way over-stressed about getting that ATP! But that's how I roll. That's why my takeoff briefs begin with, "In the unlikely event we become airborne today..."

Mr. Keith Weems. VERY fair evaluator. Thorough ground eval on the stuff that's in the study guide All ATPs provides and the IP at All ATPs did a good job preparing me for the checkride.

I think what had me most nervous was flying with "foggles" on. We don't do that in the AF but my IP put me in the sim for about an hour and that helped shake the cobwebs loose for me.
