Because the media has been so notorious is getting facts mixed up with non-facts and an assortment of other problems/inaccuracies, I thought it would be better to post the same story but from two different media outlets, one a newspaper and the other a television station. It's obvious both need a new editor. I'm available! :)

A light plane had just lifted off from Boeing Field Wednesday evening when it veered to the right and crashed, striking a parked aircraft, according to Rochelle Ogershok, spokesperson for King County International Airport / Boeing Field.
After the 7:30 p.m. accident, there was a fire involving both planes, and that prompted a response from the airport rescue firefighting unit. The fire was quickly put out, Ogershok said.
“We believe there were two people on board the aircraft taking off, and we do believe there were injuries, but at this point they do not appear to be life threatening,” she said.
Seattle Fire Department spokesman Kyle Moore told KING TV that a man in his early 20s, a student pilot, and a female in her early 30s, a flight instructor, appeared to have sustained very minor injuries and were taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution.
There was nobody aboard the parked plane on the ground, Ogershok said.
Ogershok told The Associated Press that the parked plane apparently belonged to Airpac, an air cargo operator. A call to Airpac’s answering service was not immediately returned.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have both been notified and will be investigating, Ogershok said.
Because of the accident, the short runway at Boeing Field is closed. The main runway remains open.

Seattle Fire Department says a student pilot and his flight instructor have minor injuries from the collision with an unoccupied parked aircraft.
Their plane had recently been cleared for departure.
One of the planes flipped over after the collision.
The student and instructor were taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution.
