Hello,

I want to get ATPL (A) FROZEN licence. There are many flight academies in Turkey. Their prices also cheaper than European academies and weather conditions are more suitable. I have already found a school, its name is Tarkim Flight Academy. But I also want to improve my English by going abroad. Could you please give me some advices?

Thank you.

How much is the full course in Turkey? Is it integrated or modular? Are you Turkish?

I have experience with flight training in different JAA FTO's and can give you some advice.

There is always the UK but the licensing fees are quite extortionate (my license is issued in the UK). You could also try Greece, Malta, Iceland, or Poland. Bartolini in Poland reportedly offers very good prices and all the instructors speak English.

I know of an integrated school in Spain where several instructors have level 6 English and even a native english speaker. And contrary to popular belief, Spanish ATC do speak English. Spain has long been an alternative for those wishing to save some money on JAA flight training.

You want to stay away from practically any FTO in turkey. Tarkim especially. Pm me if you have questions about it. I provide the same training here in us and with cooperation of a Greek flight school for fraction of the price here in USA. And just to let you know I am turkish.

Is it possible to give us some more information? Are you currently living in Turkey?

You have plenty of options, regarding the JAA ATPL.

I am not familiar with any Flight Schools in Turkey but i'll take seattlepilot's word.

Do you know by any chance a JAA TRE on MD80/90 who can provide
base training(take-offs&landings) to a type rated pilot on the specific type?

Satellite,

That's a thread jack and it is not real nice especially since you already have posted your question on your own threads on multiple forums.
