Does anybody have any experience or advice in getting my child support to be calculated by using the minimum monthly guarantee and not by 3 paychecks, which were well over the minimum guarantee.

thanx

HMP - that is a pretty low blow IMO.
You have no idea of the circumstances.

dleif - a suggestion would be to get a good divorce lawyer.

It will depend on your state of residence, and asking an attorney would be a good idea.

One suggestion I've heard is to work reserve or low guarantee lines for the time necessary to show the courts your smaller paycheck.

Nice. I'm sure she doesn't need all the help she can get with the kids anyway.

Maybe she remarried a millionaire.
In any case, there is also a big difference in being able to help financially support the children without having a court dictate an amount.

Or perhaps the amount of child support necessary is less then the court would award based on an earnings that exceeds guarantee. Why not make the award based on guaranteed earnings?
