Wondering if anybody has recently had a C check done on their falcon, and what kind of a price tag was it?? i realize many other things get done while the plane is down for the C check, and that it varies with age, just looking for a rough number. I am figuring 200- 250 k.. am I close??
Is it a C or a 2C? Big difference as the gear typically gets overhauled during the 2/4/6C's. Plan on A-Pro banging you for $200k+ for that alone.
As for the price you estimated, our 900 just came out of a 2C and I was very involved in the project. Depending upon corrosion and what parts fail inspection, I would plan on $300k+.
Obviously if you have ANY thoughts whatsoever of doing upgrades now's the time to do them.

thanks, ya it would be just a C, as it is a 2006 machine. you wouldn't happen to have any challenger 300 time or insight would you?? the boss is trying to figure out which to go with. I've got 604 time and 2000 time, and because his footprint is short, as well as operating costs, i lean towards the Falcon. also the 604 was touchy in crosswinds, from what I remember. Any gouge would be appreciated.

we're doing a C check at LIT - not doing paint and minor interior but I know it will be some scratch when it's all said and done
