I will be graduating from a 141 University soon and i really want to spend a few years (or more) flying and working in the caribbean. What are some good small operations that will hire around a 350TT 15multi pilot if not any with that time has anyone had experience doing a thing like this? if so what were the requirements that you saw? Thanks!

Look into missionary flying. May not pay much. But rewarding and a way to build time.

I am in the same position you are in. Did you ever find any jobs?? Are you flying anywhere now?

There's several freight operators in TSJU that fly around there: Air Cargo Carriers, Roblex Aviation, Skyway, M&N Aviation. Hope that helps.

Talked to an ex-Seabourne Airways guy the other day.....said there are some pretty rough areas/violence/crime/etc. in some of the islands.....just be careful and research the security of the area. Island living is/can be very expensive. Good Luck!

I lived in the Dominican Republic until a month ago, so I can deal with rough areas. If anyone has any solid info on a cargo carrier that would hire a guy, with 400 hrs, and 125 multi turbine 25 mult-piston. I am American and have FAA CFI, and MEI.(all the required other licenses to get those.)
THank you guys soo much, I will definitely be adding info, as I get it as well.
