Russell Means went west Friday evening, July 20, 2012 at 2010 hours in Menorah Hospital of Overland Park, Kansas. He retired from TWA in 1980. Captain Means learned to fly in the Army Air Corps and completed 222 mission in Australia and New Guinea flying unarmed C-47 aircraft. His wife Helen predeceased him in 2011. He is survived by children and grandchildren. Russell was a member of QB Hangar MKC.
