Sorry to read this sad news. Sally was indeed an inspiration to females everywhere. She died waaaay too young and of a disease that took my mom 7 years ago.

RIP and condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

"Hawk" Hawkins said it best, "What is a pancreas, anyhow? I mean, I don't know what the damn thing does for you, besides give you cancer."

Fair winds, and following seas.

When, we love, we enjoy.
When, we love our profession, we exceed
And when we love life, then we get to see the stars.

Goodbye, Sally

It was a true joy
