This is there too:
American Eagle - Careers :: Pilots (http://www.americaneaglecareers.com/Jobs/Pilots.html)
Since Eagle has pilots on furlough, I think the FA thing is probably old as well.

The need to update the physical requirements for the FA's.
Would this be for both females AND males? :confused:

Not surprising..they are already under-staffed (as is everyone else)...but if we see the rumored 2-1 trade in for bigger ERJs (or anything bigger for that matter), those require 2 FAs opposed to the 1 for the <50 seats..so staffing the new planes is a wash for FAs..we just lose a ton of pilot jobs

Probably both. Don't know how much you're on the ERJ 135/140/145 but it's pretty tight if you're tall, wide, or both.

I would NOT call it progress. Its just catch up. again to little to late from management. We are way to short staffed on FA's. They are being jr'maned left and right. I had one walk off the plane last week. Mine and I know one other flight (both over nites) had to be cancelled. No FA's available. The other flight that cancelled also had an FA just walk off the plane and not show up to the next one.
