I just want to ask around and see if there are any IFr, CFI commercial online written practice tests. I'm going to have to take them someday, might as well start now.

With all the constant changes to the written tests you are much better off only studying the questions right before you take the test. Sheppard Air is by far the best prep for the written tests for the Instrument through ATP. You can spend a weekend with their prep and basically ace the tests in 20mins each.

So until your ready to take the tests just read the FAA handbooks to learn the material.

You're best off putting effort into studying and mastering the material at this point. However, if you want to progressively evaluate yourself ... Practice Pilot Exams (http://www.risingup.com/tests/)

When I was in the process, I used FAA Written Exam Test Preparation for Pilots (http://www.mywrittenexam.com). That was about five years ago and that site had everything but ATP.

Good luck!
